50 Bohemian Painted Dresser 2019

Last month I painted a dresser with bohemian vibe by giving it a very artistic paint job. What was once a regular, traditional style dresser is now a work of art with loads of storage. The dresser came with a huge mirror that I debated whether or not to paint it to match. I'm so glad I went for it because the mirror really made the piece. See for yourself!

I love painting like this because I can have complete, creative freedom. The base color is a deep teal chalk paint and a blended in lighter turquoise, I then layered on the accent green colors. Distressed it and gave it multiple coats of poly, sanding between coats as always for a super soft smoothness.

This dresser is super solid, with 9 dovetailed drawers and it was made by Heywood Wakefield. The original hardware looks so amazing up against the deep color, and the mirror makes a huge statement. I love the outcome of this piece.

It all started when I wanted to drink a cup of tea! Now what does drinking a cup of tea and lining shelves with contact paper have to do with each other, you ask! Kitchen Cabinet Makeover Reveal

Finally, I'm going to share the kitchen cabinet makeover reveal! It took us a lot longer than we expected to get this done. But we are finally putting the paint brushes and the rollers down. At least until we recoup from all the unplanned painting we did these past few weeks. We didn't have a plan for this or a budget because it wasn't in the cards to do this project just yet. Best Home office Simple Design Ideas Near Me

Our new house has a spare room that we use daily to enter the house and where we greet all of our visitors since it is our main entrance. It quickly became a catch all room where we would just dump everything we didn't want to deal with at the moment. That was a really big problem and it was stressing me out.
